Humanity has two giant collisions to thank for its existence, explains biologist Sean B. Carroll.
When an asteroid landed on the Yucatan peninsula 66 million years ago, it turned our planet into a debris field of chemicals that, eventually, fostered human life. Sean B. Carroll, author and esteemed biologist, unpacks the consequences of this collision, and claims we, as a species, should feel fortunate that we’re on this planet at all.
This historical cosmic event, paired with the tectonic movement of Earth’s plates and the initiation of the Ice Age, ultimately led to existence as we know it today. Without these random, chance environmental and biological encounters, the development of life would have been stunted, or even entirely nonexistent.
Even the sequence of human conception is random and unlikely, Carroll explains, leading us to reevaluate our understanding of evolution, true survival, and the significance of each individual life.

This is not about every day religion. This is about the extreme "salvation" that some go through when disalligned. Our every day experience, when being integrated, involves changes to the model of how the world works with ourselves as the central figure. But when individuals experience a break between their current model and its effectiveness in the world to achieve critically important ends, the disruption can be quite disturbing. Something approaching this disruption and reallignment may be experienced at different points in an individual's life. But it would be more generally true to describe religion as a practice to guide the mind as the interface attempting to resolve adaptive issues which arise between the body and the world. This recognizes that this process arises routinely as new experiences are integrated; attempting to make minor and/or major changes to the model.

And this is just an extremely small part of all the accidents that had to happen for the emergence of human civilization. For example, our galaxy had to be far away from others so as not to collide with them, our solar system had to be in the right part of the galaxy, the Sun had to be so unusually calm, the Earth had to be in the habitable zone and collide with another planet below a certain angle to create the Moon, to stabilize the axis of rotation, the formation of tectonic plates and a strong magnetic shield. We are enormously lucky, but we don’t appreciate this at all and are heading towards our own destruction.

Ok good one.. but why would we not perceive data, though... If most is energy, or did it sound like it was some level of brainwashing maybe... or a perception, i did not get that... I do agree with the perspectives and finding an objective truth from many perspectives. Also, Einstein probably believed in black holes, and understood physics extremely good. ;) Space, etc... stars. Might still do. hehe

When I was child I theorised that enlightened people have crossed that thin line between sanity and insanity. In essence they have gone mad. Now I understand that sanity is seeing reality for survival and seeing the truth of reality ie enlightenment ( crossing that line of insanity ) might lead us to give up on material life. In Hinduism those who see the truth will usually become an asetic/sanyasi. "The world is a Maya"

Some folks feel leery about ln√esting, but once you grasp the basics, a smart approach can bring in some serious cash over time. I personally make a steady income of 45-60k through hardcore ln√esting and save 20-30%. As for how long it takes to see profits, it really depends on various factors like the type of in√estments you make and markêt conditions.

There are several females who are first generation women in the USA, as a result, we have to focus on trying to lay a foundation for ourselves and our partners. Thus, career / work becomes a priority, to serve as an example for our future children. During 2020, I listed to this or another video. At the time, during the pandemic, and given all the madness I had experienced (not COV19), I was PROMPTED to make radical changes. While he is right some of us do want to settle down for a family (ideally by 30) , life is not as simple for those who migrated from another country to the states. However, I have plenty of friends whom did manage to have their children in their late 30is with great ease. That was their choice and are happily married with one to three children. My point, after I heard this message and given the set of circumstances I found myself in, I managed to make radical / extreme changes in an effort to make everything happen. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out well. As of today, I am single, 36, lost friendships and at last my career/job and not in the happiest of places. To close, life advise is not a one size fits all. All is life is on a case by case basis. People’s background have to be assessed, to see the cause behind their actions.

    8. The universe was created by God. Since God is all powerful, the universe was created in a way so that it appears to be old so that the evolution theories are plausible. The vastness of the universe is not an opportunity for possible alien life, but rather a display of God's infinite greatness to inspire awe and worship. Man was created by God. Man then sinned by taking the fruit. Jesus Christ, fully God, fully man, came down on earth, dying for the sins of man, resurrected on the third day, appeared to many, and ascended to heaven. The Bible is the inerrant word of God. If you find hypotheses 1 to 7 to be remotely plausible, you have no reason to consider the above impossible. Those that reject the above hypothesis do not reject it on a scientific basis, but rather their preference is that God does not exist, so that they cannot be categorized as objectively sinful, so that they can continue to live in their sinful ways.
